David Kazmer received BS Mechanical Engineering from Cornell University in 1989 and PhD from the Design Division at Stanford University in 1995. He has held engineering and management positions in industry and academia, is a named inventor on over 20 patents, and author of two books, ten book chapters, and more than three hundred other publications. David O. Kazmer, Ph.D., is researching advanced capabilities in design of manufacturing processes, focusing on molding process simulation and development as well as product and machine design towards integrated product and process engineering. Teaching courses pertaining to process engineering, mold design, process control, and process simulation. He is also an Associate Research Professor in the Department of Mech. & Ind. Eng, Amherst Campus. His industry experience includes engineering and management positions at GE Research and Development, GE Plastics, and Synventive Molding Solutions.

Suhas Kulkarni is the president of FIMMTECH Inc., a firm that specializes in services and training related to Plastic Injection Molding. Suhas earned his Masters in Plastics Engineering from the University of Massachusetts, Lowell and a Bachelors in Polymer Engineering from the University of Poona, India. He has 28 years of experience as a process engineer. He is the author of the top selling book ‘Robust Process Development and Scientific Molding’ published by Hanser Publications, now in its second edition. He also a contract faculty at the University of Massachusetts at Lowell. He is also the author of several papers and articles.

Dr. Mayur Kumbhani has an excellent background in polymer processing and polymer blend development. He is a Research and Development Manager at Modern Dispersions, where he leads many projects related to new polymer development and works closely with global customers. Dr. Kumbhani holds B.S. in Textile Processing, M.S. in Textile Chemistry from UMass – Dartmouth, and Ph.D. in Plastics Engineering from UMass – Lowell. He is also a President of the Society of Plastics Engineers – Eastern New England section.
